Four Ways To Make Quick Money Doing Cash Jobs
Many of us have trouble these days making ends meet. We work full time jobs, but they just don't pay enough. So what do you do if you need some quick cash to get out of a jam? Can you go out an get another full time ob, or find a quick fix instead?
Here are 4 ideas for side jobs or cash jobs you can do to make some fast side money.
Clean Gutters
Most homes are equipped with rain gutters, and most homeowners don't clean them out after the leaves fall off the trees! Clogged gutters can cause water to back up into the roof eaves and rot the wood.
In addition, people just do not like to climb on the roof. You can offer this easy service as a way to make some fast cash.
All you need are a ladder and a pair of gloves. You simply climb on the roof, carefully, and scoop out the debris and you're done! The average house should take you about 30 minutes and make you between $30 and $50 depending on what you agree to.
If you have a gas powered leaf blower, you can take that up on the roof with you to make the job go faster and smoother. Just be prepared to clean up the ground below a bit when you are done.
Clean and Wash Windows
While you are cleaning the gutters, you can ask the customer if you can wash their windows! This is just as easy and can make you another $50 easily. I recommend cleaning just the outside and not entering the house for legal reasons.
All you need for this is the same ladder, paper towels, small squeegee and some window cleaner with vinegar. It is best to practice this one at your own house to perfect your technique before charging someone for the service.
Rake Leaves
If their gutters are clogged with leaves, chances are they have more of them on the ground below. You can rake them into the street and call the city to suck them up if ordinances allow, or charge the customer to place them in refuse bags.
I like to charge by the hour for this particular service.
Wash Cars
People drive to the car wash and pay as much as $15 to have their vehicle run through a water shower in 3 minutes. What if you knocked on their door and offered a complete hand wash for the same money?
All you need here is a bucket, sponge, dish soap and a drying towel. You can use their hose. Just be sure you don't streak the windows. You can also offer tire shine for an additional couple bucks.
If you're really ambitious, you can offer a complete interior detail service as well. This is especially appealing to those who have long commutes and are not always able to keep their vehicles clean. With this service, you may need a shop vacuum as well.
There are any number of ways to make some quick cash doing odd jobs, it's just a matter of finding the people who are already looking for you.

What's the best cordless drill for my job?
I install gutters and I use a 9.6v Dewalt everyday all day. The first pair we bought lasted 3 years before they quit working. Since then we've had to replace them every year. Is there a better drill for us. I need a small one because I carry it around all day in my nail apron.
Home Depot Ridgid brand now has a lifetime service warranty, including things like brushes and yes, cordless batteries. While it's not necessarily the best or most powerful, the promise of lifetime battery replacements is appealing. Note the tool may crap out after three years, but as long as the tool is working, you get replacement batteries.
